Lipodissolve/mesotherapy is the injection of tiny amounts of medication under the skin to bring about a specific effect. In the case of cosmetic medicine, liposculpting uses a combination of phosphatidyl choline (from soy lecithin) and de-oxycholate (PC-DC) to shrink fat cells.
It works like bile acid salts that your body makes to dissolve the fat that you eat. Phosphatidyl Choline and related substances are used in oral form by athletes and body builders.

You will see between 1/4 to 2 inches of girth reduction.
For cellulite: it is an improvement of 1-2 grades. This means that if you have very deep dimples, lipodissolve alone will not be the solution. We may recommend that we look at hormone balance (since estrogen affects cellulite_ and proceed to adding a Thermage treatment to get you the best possible results.

Who can get lipodissolve?
The best candidates for lipodissolve are people who live a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise. It’s important to remember that lipodissolve is not a weight loss method.

You also MUST get certain blood tests as there are a few conditions that will not allow you to see good results from lipodissolve. Fortunately, a simple medical treatment can often allow you to be treated and proceed into a successful lipodissolve treatment.
If you are on certain medications, you may not be a candidate for lipodissolve.
If you have allergies to soy/ peanuts, you cannot have lipodissolve.
If you have disorders of the blood or blood clotting; or are on blood thinning medications; you may not be a candidate for lipodissolve/ mesotherapy.
If you have a phobia for needles and injections, you are not a candidate for lipodissolve/ mesotherapy.
