Restylane and Perlane were most common years ago. Since then, Juvederm(TM) and Teosyal(TM) have come to the fore, with Teosyal being an award winning filler that has the least potential for side effects. Injectable filler/ hyaluronic acid are products that have been designed with different gel particle sizes that are utilized for different effects and purposes—from eliminating tiny lines to enhancing facial contours.
As we age, soft tissue in the face degenerates, resulting in a thinning of the skin and a loss of firmness, plumpness or volume, and elasticity. What can injectable filler treat?
Injectable filler adds VOLUME. So, any part of your face that has sunken/ hollowed out. Most commonly used in the lower 2/3 of your face, filler will soften deep folds around the nose and mouth. Filler will restore your beautiful cheek bones and make you look younger. For youthful looks: you need fullness at your cheekbones and elimination of the deep folds around your moth-nose area.
Will filler help my crows feet?
Filler is best for restoring fullness and folds. It can be used for stubborn lines in the mid-eyebrow area above the nose. Botox is best tried first to reduce the lines as much as possible before filler is used.
