HOLISTIC NUTRITION

Confused and frustrated from trying to figure out which diet is the healthiest for you? Overwhelmed by all the nutrition-related information in the public forum? Our Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP) can educate you about the benefits of a sound nutritional program and healthy lifestyle and help you achieve optimum health. Understanding that every person is biochemically unique, our RNCP, who is a professional trained in holistic nutrition and complementary therapies, will assess individual nutritional imbalances and weaknesses to enhance your immune system and recommend specific diets and nutritional support to help you build and maintain well-being.**

Why would you see a nutritionist as opposed to a dietician?

A nutritionist recognises that healthy eating should focus on more than nutrients and calories. Holistic nutrition encourages and teaches the avoidance of foods that deliver chemicals and toxins to the body. You learn from a nutritionist how to choose good, wholesome foods that provide vital nutrients that keep your mind and body from aging.

A nutritionist can teach you how to lower your cholesterol and blood sugar, and how to control your blood pressure and weight. Naturally. A nutritionist can teach you how to choose less toxic alternatives while you modify your eating style to be more healthy. Food preparation to optimise your nutrient benefit, and to reduce harmful byproducts are also part of the teaching you receive from a nutritionist.

Is a dietician not needed?

A dietician is trained to help you eat for your health too. A dietician is extremely helpful if you have more serious medical conditions that require specialised nutrition.

For example, kidney or liver failure; feeding tubes, cancer states.
