Many hormone levels change throughout the day. How much is ‘free’ for your body to use depends on other hormone and protein levels.
Blood gives us a ‘snapshot ’- a picture of what is happening in the body at one particular moment.
Usually, blood measures a total level of hormone present. This may not actually be available for use by your body’s cells.
During your comprehensive medical examination at Chronos Apollo, you receive extensive blood testing in conjunction with saliva testing. This gives us more information to fully understand your state of health.
WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER A SALIVA TEST?
Saliva testing will benefit you especially when your ‘blood tests are normal’ and you do not feel your best. Saliva testing also helps you to receive certain natural therapies and stay within a physiological range (this means that we try to keep levels replenished to only within normal ranges).
